Capacity Improvement of 3D-OCDMA-PON Hybrid System Next Generation Using Weight Zero Cross Correlation Code

This paper proposes a novel code for optical division multiple access (OCDMA) systems, called the three-dimensional (3D) spectral/temporal/spatial single weight zero cross-correlation (3D-SWZCC) code. The proposed could potentially be used in next generation of passive networks (NG-PONs) to provide 3D-SWZCC-OCDMA-NG-PON system. developed has high capacity and property that completely suppresses interference (MAI) effects are main drawback OCDMA systems. Previously, two-dimensional (2D) SWZCC was (2D-OCDMA) It works by devoting first second components spectral spatial encodings, respectively. However, aims carry out encoding domains spectral, time, aspects first, second, third components, One-dimensional, 2D, 3D systems can support up 68, 157, 454 active users with total lengths equal 171, 273, Numerical results reveal 3D-SWZCC outperforms codes from previous studies, including such as perfect difference (PD), PD/multi-diagonal (PD/MD), dynamic cyclic shift/MD (DCS/MD), Pascal’s triangle (PTZCC), according various metrics. system function is provided exhibiting architecture transmitter receiver PON context, where demonstrates its effectiveness meeting communication requirements based on 3D-OCDMA-PON producing quality factor (Q) 18.8 low bit error rate (BER) 3.48 × 10−29 over long distance reach 30 Km data 0.622 Gbps.
